ABOUT CONVOY

What started as a handful of small mom-and-pop stores and churches around Convoy Street in the 1980’s and 1990’s has organically grown into a bustling hub of culture and cuisine. Known for its eclectic mix of Asian eateries, trendy cafes, boba shops and specialty supermarkets, Convoy is also home to cultural institutions, service providers, and non-profit organizations including the Asian Business Association and The Convoy District Partnership.

In 2020, city and state officials designated the area as the “Convoy Pan Asian Culture and Business Innovation District,” opening the door for freeway signs, street banners, and the landmark neighborhood sign.
